What Structured Output means

By default, AI replies in free-flowing sentences, which people read easily but software cannot. Structured output asks the AI to respond in a consistent, organized format with clearly labeled fields instead.

For example, instead of a paragraph describing a customer enquiry, you ask the AI to return labeled fields like name, topic, and urgency. Your automation can then reliably pick out each value and act on it.
